4 – (MAY 12) Bombardier cannot be cancelled….backroom dealing possibly?

The Toronto Star has published an investigative series on Bombardier and the whole series has been discouraging. In a nutshell, Bombardier fails as an effective, dependable and real corporation.

Bombardier has failed Toronto Transit if every regard. Promised number of units, not delivered; quality control, completely off track, fully operational streetcars, totally derailed as operational vehicles. Adding fuel to the fire, bail out money has been given/loaned to Bombardier by Quebec businesses and by the federal government. Stoke the fire, the family managed corporation has given its executive increases which border on the criminal in amount. Perhaps the Wynne government and Ornge and Hydro salaries might be more exorbitant. Arguable.

Read the Toronto Star columns and editorial and try saying the following with a straight face, “I think staying with Bombardier is a good idea.”
