Lisa’s BIO

Lisa Ireland, our newest contributor, is a registered dietitian, associated with Loblaws as a registered dietician. She has taught part-time at Durham College for a number of years and belongs to a network of over 70 dietitians who provide one-on-one consultation, assisted shopping, educational tours and recipes for local Durham residents and beyond.

Lisa has been a licensed and registered dietitian for over 20 years. She has worked as a Long-Term Caregiver for 14 years, taught about nutrition and diet and is a registered dietitian with Loblaws for the past 6 years. Since graduating from the University of Guelph with a BASc degree in Applied Human Nutrition.

Read her regular contributions about proper nutrition and improved dieting and her advice about eating better and properly. As Lisa says, “I love teaching and helping people learn how to eat better, how to improve their overall health and how to avoid illnesses from poor diets.” Lisa has a very positive and optimistic attitude for developing and improving not only personal diets but also for corporate groups. Lisa believes “one is what they eat” and that with professional and proper advice, people can improve their health through better diets. Eat right, live better.
