The Esplanade South, between Valley Farm Road and the Civic Complex parking lot driveway, will be closed on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm for the Remembrance Day Parade and Service. Both sidewalks on The Esplanade South will remain open.
A rolling road closure on Valley Farm Road will also be initiated, between The Esplanade North and The Esplanade South starting at approximately 10:30 am. This section of Valley Farm Road will be re-opened after the parade passes.
The front loop of the Chestnut Hill Recreation Complex will be closed starting at 9:00 am, and will be re-opened at approximately 1:00 pm.
Purpose: Remembrance Day Parade and Service (Temporary road closure and temporary accessible parking in effect)
Duration: Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm
Temporary accessible parking will be available on the north side The Esplanade South from Glenanna Road to the Pickering Civic Complex underground parking lot entrance, and on a portion of the east side of Glenanna Road (south of The Esplanade South).
