The City is making every effort possible to maintain as much normalcy as it can for its residents. Events, such as the ART IN THE PARK are still being offered and done but with all the necessary precautions being used to minimize risk for the participants.
Pickering residents are eager to return to normalcy. This can be seen from the number of locals who registered for the pottery session of the City of Pickerings ART IN THE PARK series running in this summer.
The city continues to run its variety of recreational programs as catalogued in their Leisure and Services Guide available on the City website. Events, where necessary precautions such as appropriate social distancing could not be ensured, were cancelled. Events, where necessary precautions could be used, were run.
ART IN THE PARK was a series where the city could implement COVID precautions.
