DESCRIPTION:The Region of Durham will conduct its annual test of the nuc
 lear public alerting system on October 29 and 30. The system is designed
  to warn people in the unlikely event of an emergency at the nuclear-gen
 erating stations in Clarington or Pickering.\nThe test will take place d
 uring daytime hours over two days:\n\n	On&nbsp\;October 29\, an auto dia
 ler will call listed landline phone numbers within 10 kilometres of the 
 nuclear-generating stations in Durham Region. The calls will appear as c
 oming from 905-666-6291.
