Our society here in the GTA is deteriorating and crumbling away and it may be due to the psycho in Washington.
An examination of the graphs below indicates that the battle against crime is being lost.

More money is being thrown at crime, police department budgets, increased number of officers, paying police chiefs more…all to no avail. There must be a better way to fight crime or affect better results from money spent.
Here’s a consideration. These increased expenditures have been authorized and approved by councillors, provincial and municipal without any accountability. The councillors can authorized spending of taxpayer dollars but are left unaccountable when these expenditures show no results, or worse, failing results.
Failing at the job responsibilities like this in the business world would result in job termination very quickly. In the gossamer world of politics, politicians can coast forever in jobs that would be deemed as unacceptable in the business world.
The question boils down to why? Why do taxpayers accept poor performance from elected officials? Why is there no accountability for doing unacceptable work? Why are poorly performing politicians tolerated and allowed to remain in office? Why is there no recourse to poorly performing politicians other than lamentation and public criticism?
