My dad, a professional chef, baked the best Pineapple Upside Down Cakes in the world. I just had to try my hand at it and according to the neighbour taste testers, it was a success.
Then….a maple syrup with cream cheese icing…a smash.
Next, since it is peach season…a peach upside down cake…wow…at the risk of sounding boastful, it was excellent also.
Next I tried galettes, a cafloutis, and French Bread 5 minute pizza
The successes are going to my head…and my waist.
Could this be a new calling for the ‘old guy?’
