SEE THEM HERE, UNADORNED………….
You are knocking on doors and shaking hands, and most of the people you meet have never seen you before. They will not remember your name unless they see it. A simple name badge does that work for you at every door.
WHY IT MATTERS
- Voters need to know your name
Voters have to see your name a lot. The more often they see it, the more familiar it becomes. It needs a lot of reinforcing and repetition to become anchored in their heads. - A name tag residents who is at the door.
A stranger on the porch with a badge is a candidate. A stranger without one is just a stranger. - A name tag is gentle.
A name tage is less “in your face” than a shirt with your name on it. It is a quieter way of making your name known to the people you meet. - A name tag goes everywhere you go. Door knocking, forums, debates, community events, the grocery store. Any gathering, people will see your name….and will remember you.
- Keep it simple
Your name, big and easy to read, with your constituency below it if you want. Nothing more. Clean, simple and precise.
