Those two badges show you the kind of race for Mayor has shaped up so far. In a way, it may be a comment on how difficult it is to be Mayor. Nobody wants the job except for the incumbent Mayor who wants to return. Not much of a race.
But this is a tough job. Incumbent Mayor Kevin Ashe can attest to that. Criticisms from every corner, complaints from all directions, accusations taken to extremes, falsehoods everywhere without evidence of validity.
It is no wonder, no one ones the job. We can only hope there are potential candidates out there who are working a political strategy that includes late entry into the race.
