Cuba: considering it for a vacation?

Cuba has been my favourite Caribbean vacation destination for some time now, nearly 10 years.

On the latest trip I asked myself some hard questions about vacationing there, given that it is a Communist country.

My considerations have varied facets. Read what I think in each of the areas below:

OVERVIEW
Cuba is a prison, better to label it a gilded cage. Still, it is still a prison for its citizens. They lack freedoms which we in Canada take for granted, freedom to travel, personal freedoms, religious freedoms, economic freedoms, speech, assembly, press and media, freedoms we have in our lives daily. These do not exist in Cuba.

In writing this piece about Cuba, the surface is being scratched only. The areas given a bit more depth are listed in the following links.
