The Payette story should make one consider many things about political office holders:
- Do they use a moral compass?
- Do they fulfill their office responsibilities with efficiency, effectiveness and efficacy?
- Are they accountable beyond periodic elections?
- Do they earn their salary?
- Do they do more good than harm?
- Do they speak the truth rather than ‘baffle gab?’
- Would you want to be associated with them?
Julie Payette lost out on each of these questions. Now ask yourself about some other politicians, their vision, the work they are doing, their accountability. Here are some deserving of consideration:

There are many questions to consider when one examines how well these individuals are doing in their jobs. We are not suggesting that immediate dismissal be considered first or at all. But these individuals are in very responsible public offices. They must serve with competency, integrity, clarity and transparency. Are each of these people doing their best?
