I haven’t seen Lisa Robinson holding “townhall” meetings since Maurice Brenner parted ways with her. Yet in her election material she states she will be doing just that. I attempted to reach out to her several times by email in early 2023, to bring her up to speed on what we were doing in Fairport Beach, and what we have accomplished working with Mr.Brenner and Mayor Ashe, as our Ward 1 representatives. I would have thought a new Councillor would jump on the opportunity to get acquainted with an Association as old as ours.
Also, at last year’s Civic Awards night, two of the executive members of Fairport Beach Neighbourhood Association(Ward1) were receiving recognition for their achievements, and where was our Councillor? She was protesting at the Durham District School Board headquarters over the pride flag. The only Councillor absent that night. Her priorities don’t seem to match her election material.
Her responses speak for themselves.
