Jerk T**** is a bigger threat to democracy and Canada than people think. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything other than lie low and hope and pray. Complaining, whining, and lamenting about the danger of this man do us no good. He’s been elected by a deluded bunch of people, and we’re stuck with him. The best we can do is not poke the tiger.
Tariff and reaction
AH has announced he will raise tariffs to 25% against Canada because we are a ‘threat to American security and safety, a source of fentanyl and illegal immigrants.’ Our governments have recognized the economic impact of this proposed new tariff, and each one has chosen a different reaction: Ottawa says it will bolster security at the common border, and Ontario has chosen a verbal retaliation saying “the tariffs are like being stabbed in the heart by a family member.”
T**** playing his “ ‘Don’ game”
T**** is no bit of fantasy, some kind of Hollywood movie or a checkers game (he’s not capable of chess) by a player tutored by Meyer Lansky, the mafia don from Florida. AH T**** has learned to play his game like a criminal ‘Don’ himself. Say or do outlandish things to see their effect. If accepted by the people, proceed to more outlandish, even ridiculous. There are no boundaries or limitations as acceptability grows. Ohio residents eating pets!!! That’s fine. Never mind his own levels of legal, moral, and social violations and indictments. If it were you or I, jail doors wouldn’t close fast enough behind us.
T**** is playing a dirty game, criminal and felonious: “deflect, distract and divert” attention from what he really plans. His tariff change will divert attention from his real goals which no one knows just yet, not even him. He doesn’t care. Every morning is a new statement based on what he dreamed last night. After he dreams his crazy dreams, he announces his next big crazy. Worse reality is if government policy is required, he now has the mandate and power to legislate it.
The tariffs may be testing the waters to see if his minions will support this outlandish economic policy, but don’t believe for a minute this is his end game. The move made by the pawn opening will be followed by more ridiculous moves by his knight and bishop, soon to follow. What those moves will be even AH doesn’t know. He needs to sleep on it first to dream them yet.
The bishop move deals with Canada’s NATO payments, which are less than the obligatory 2% payment NATO membership entails. Canada’s Minister of Defence, Bill Blair, states we will be dealing with this very quickly and very soon.
AH laughs. He speaks. Nations jump. He doesn’t even have to say how high. They kill themselves, trying to jump higher and higher.
The knight move will be more drastic, affecting Canada more directly. We can’t be sure if AH’s truncated attention span will be distracted elsewhere. After all, the mental klutz will have to deal with a growing multitude of items once he takes office. However, recognize that many American western and Pacific states are dying of thirst. They are dehydrated desserts suffering increasingly hotter summers. Canada has water. There, the knight move!!
This T**** saga is like a bad movie; the only problem is that it’s not a movie. The tariff change is the first scene in which Canada is assaulted. More is coming, and you and I will not like the next scenes as Canada suffers more indignities, insults and offenses.
The knight’s move will be some kind of aggressive assault on Canada for its water for the drought-burdened American western/Pacific states. First, the pawn moves regarding the tariff modification succeeds, then the bishop moves regarding NATO payments, and next, the knight moves for Canadian water. Unfortunately, this is not a game. It’s not a movie either, and we can do nothing about how it unfolds.
