ISSUES: The biggest issues facing Canadians

HOUSING
For many Canadians housing is the biggest issue of concern, not just housing, but affordable housing.

Politicians at every level of government claim concern for the housing issues in Canada. The problem is a crucial one for many Canadians and these voters would like to hear concrete, real steps being taken to deal with this very serious issue.

HIGH COST OF LIVING
News reports claim inflation is low but for most consumers, the grocery bills seem to be exorbitant. Grocery prices seem to be out of control or beyond the comfortable or acceptable level for man Canadians. The news report claims are misleading. Grocery prices are very high and increasing regularly. The situation has been exacerbated by the tariffs imposed by the USA. These tariffs will likely be reciprocated by the Canadian federal government with the repercussions affecting food prices. The Canadian voter would like to hear what the federal government candidates would do to regulate or reduce the continuously rising food prices.

INCREASED USE OF FOOD BANKS
Food Bank use in Canada, especially in the larger cities, is at record levels and growing. Governments at all levels need to step in and help people suffering food anxiety. This is a major problem governments must address with concrete strategies to help people in need.
