In the emergency situation of a fire, your dog or your cat may not make any calls for help as the smoke as incapacitated them.
This post is not to put some doom and gloom into your day, it is a notification that I am doing some followup research on the topic and will update it very soon.
Decals for home window
The Humane Society, 1505 Wentworth St., Whitby, has window decals available that alert fire crews about pet in habitance in the residence. I would be devastated if Fermo, my 13 year old Scottish terrier, were trapped in the house without fire crews knowing. Bad things happen in life but we all try to thwart or safeguard against them.
I am currently waiting for call backs from the Whitby Humane Society regarding this decal information.
I will update the website once I have something concrete to report.
