LISA ROBINSON, mayoralty candidate, up against Ashe’s $80,000 war chest

Robinson’s asking for a bit of financial help…

I’m going to be straight with you, because that’s what Pickering deserves — and what you deserve before you decide whether to back this campaign.

For the past two years, this council has chosen to sanction my pay — and I’ve kept showing up anyway. Every council meeting. Every door knocked. Every kitchen-table conversation with neighbours worried about where Pickering is headed. They tried to silence me by holding back my pay. It only confirmed why this fight matters.

Now I’m taking on Kevin Ashe for Mayor. He has a reported $80,000 war chest built from the same insider and establishment networks that got us into this mess in the first place.

I’m starting at zero. No machine. No backroom donors. No favours owed. Just me — and I hope, you.

Here is what your donation is fighting for:

A property tax freeze. Not one dollar more for the whole term.
Standing against the 100+ condo towers — and protecting the small businesses they would push out.
Protecting our farmland in Northeast Pickering and the Federal Lands.

Those three are the start. The full Pickering Recovery Plan has thirteen commitments, and every one of them depends on winning this election.

This is the moment. It is genuinely now or never. If we don’t stand up in this election, the same hands will keep shaping our skyline, our taxes, and our future for another four years.

So I am humbly asking — not as a politician, but as your neighbour — will you chip in right now? Every single dollar is a brick in the wall we’re building together.

Will you donate a little…..DONATIONS
