The Pacione family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of their proud patriarch, Lorenzo, in his 97th year. He was predeceased by his wife, Rochetta; and his son, Mario Nicola. Lorenzo will be dearly missed by sons, Joe (Donna), Victor (Anna), Robert (Jennifer), and Luciano (Heather). He is also lovingly remembered by his grandsons, Matthew (Meaghan) and Michael (Lisa). Lorenzo was also a very proud Bisnonno to his greatgrandson, Roman.
Lorenzo came to Canada from Modugno, Bari, Italy, at the young age of 18. Together with his devoted wife, Rochetta, he raised five sons while working as a master welder at the TTC.
Lorenzo will be resting at
Pine Hills Cemetery,
625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough,
Tuesday, October 6th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m., and
Wednesday, October 7th, at 9:00 a.m. (service and interment to follow)
