How common is your blood type?

Do you know your blood type? You should. Phone your doctor to find out and put a card with your blood type in your wallet in case of an accident.

The chart below shows how common the various blood types are. The less common the blood type, the greater the risk of getting replacement blood of that type in the case of an accident.

A+ (1 IN 3)
B+ (1 in 12)
Ab+ (1 in 29)
O-(1 in 15)
A-(1 in 16)
B-(1 in 67)
AB-(1 in 167)
