Mico is nibbling or chewing on everything he can mouth, toys, rags, rugs, fingers, nose…where he can lick, he chooses to nibble or chew.
Solutions seem out of reach
Solutions to this constant nibbling seem out of reach. Loud negation does nothing. Using a “no no no” does nothing. Even a tap on the nose or rump does nothing. One thing that works briefly is, if he is my lap, dropping him to the floor, then picking him up stops it for a while. But eventually it is back.
Giving his a toy for the moment doesnt do anything. If the toy is removed, he’s back at it.
Going to try a dog chew, substituting it whenever he begins chewing something.
This problem has not be resolved yet but maybe the dog chew might do it.
