Recently the Toronto Star started and published three parts to an excllent five part series on auto theft in the GTA region. There are numerous take aways to this series from put your car into the garage to lock your car if it will sit in your driveway to use protective Faraday bags for key fobs to ….ya can’t do enough to prevent cars from being stolen.
The bottom line of the series should be…don’t trade personal injury for retention of your car. If thieves break into your home and threaten you, give up your car and cooperate to avoid being injured. Your personal safety and your family’s trumps the value of any car.
