Ever notice how councillors, candidates, most politicians tell you they will follow up on something, get back to you, provide you with more information or do something for you…..and it comes to naught.
Hot air ! Hot air ! Hot air !
It is tiring to hear politicians say they will do this or do that and then you never hear from them on it again. A lot of hot air and Pickering politicians, councillor candidates, campaigners are as guilty as any others. Words, words, words, hot air, hot air, hot air.
The words they declare would have much more impact and credibility if these candidates, councillors and politicians would just follow through on what they say…or just not say it.
There a very few politicians who have the responsibility of commitment and follow up, and Pickering is as guilty as any other.
Gratifyingly, Pickering does have some councillors, candidates who are responsible and follow up what they say. Thank goodness. Kudos to those politicians who shall remain nameless to save face of the less responsible ones. These politicians who follow up what they speak are refreshing and much appreciated. It is great to see a politician say something and then follow it up.
Woe, that we had more of them !!!
