Michael Samlalsingh, Ward 1 Councillor Candidate
Samlalsingh is a CPA with over 25 years experience in Banking. His last post of over 10 years was Director of Finance at RBC where he managed a $500Million (Half Billion) budget and all the processes around it. That’s more than a spreadsheet. That’s contracts, projects, planning, procurement and much more.
He is running for council to represent residents as their Financial Watchdog. His experience is different than other candidates and residents should take that into serious consideration when they step into the voting booth. They would be putting a money manager on the council in voting for Michael Samlalsingh.

The questionable facets to Dr. Samlalsingh are that he has no political experience and he is an unfamiliar commodity to the electorate. These may be his weaknesses in his candidacy that really needs consideration as council should have a financially knowledgeable person on it.
