There still are some political game players in Pickering’s municipal elections.
Ward 1
The only Ward that looks like a real election is Ward 1 with FOUR candidates who are profesiional in their nomination registration. A good omen as to the kind of candidates they are, creating what looks like a real or true campaign. We wish all of them the best in the campainging and may it be a satisfying one for each of them.
As for other areas
With the lack of campaigners in the other areas, the campaign as a whole loses face, loses the look of authenticity. Elections cognicenti know of some competitive candidates who still sit in the bushes playing some kind of game. This kind of political strategizing suggests these candidates lack the colours of a true candidate. What could they be hiding? What’s there game?
This kind of game playing by candidates who have not registered and who are sitting in the nomination bush suggests they are game players and this colours them as less than authentic candidates. These candidates should be considered with much consideration in the ballot box, for if they play games with the nomination registration, might they play games elsewhere?
