Lynn Heights Neighbourhood Association
The Lynn Heights Neighbourhood Association (LNHA) was officially recognized by the City of Pickering in October 2025 as a registered Ratepayers Association under Ward 2, joining a network of resident-led organizations that give neighbourhoods in Pickering a voice in civic matters.

Our association was founded on three simple principles — Connection, Care, and Communication — to strengthen ties between neighbours, foster a sense of belonging, and ensure residents are informed and represented on local issues that affect our streets, our park, and our future.

— featuring a members’ portal, community resources, and upcoming events.

Neighbourhood Size: 375 homes.
Current Membership: 233 residents registered, representing 205 households (55 % of the neighbourhood) — making LHNA one of Pickering’s largest membership-supported associations.

Community Win: Our Vice President and co-founder, Steve Sattz, recently secured snow removal for Lynn Heights Park, one of only two parks in Ward 2 chosen for the City’s new pilot winter-maintenance program.

Membership Benefits: Every resident receives a Neighbourhood Benefits Card, connecting them to participating local businesses that offer perks and community support.
The LHNA is a grassroots initiative, not a political group or a formal bureaucracy. It was built entirely through volunteer efforts and door-to-door outreach. Started as a handful of conversations among neighbours, LHNA has grown into a unified community voice now officially recognized by the City.
The members of the LHNA are deeply proud of what’s been achieved so far, and are even more excited about what’s next — from safety initiatives like “Lights On, Eyes Out” to community events, youth engagement, and partnerships with local businesses that strengthen Pickering from the ground up.
