A lovely evening at the Mayors Gala held at the Pickering Casino. There were so many wonderful charities that are supported this very lavish event. Many that DARS considers valuable partners such at the community food bank, Lukes Place and obviously our local hospital. Some great people, great conversations and a wonderful surprise. director of the St. Paul on the Hill, Lindsey Morrill, singing O Canada. A beautiful voice. The organizers did a fabulous job this year with the entertainment, silent auction and the many creative things that made this into a memorable evening for all who could attend.
