RICHARD’S Desk: There’s just too damn much…

There’s just too much coming at us every day…too much news, too much information, too much action, too much noise….it’s all overwhelming.

Do you find yourself overwhelmed these days with so much information coming at you from every direction. Consider shutting off devices or putting them on hold for a while to give your brain a bit of rest, relaxation and recovery.

Turn off the radio. Turn off the phone. Power down the cell phone. Turn off the TV. Give youself a quiet time break. Talk to the family, quietly. Play with the kids, quietly. Entertain the grandkids, quietly. Sit in your favourite chair/couch, quietly. Don’t do any of these things for long, just a few minutes, longer if you like, just some “you” time. Some quiet time with you.

Hear your mind. Listen to your brain. Feel your heart beat. You deserve some quiet time for you. So, take it. Just do it.
