A few weeks ago, I shared a concern raised by a Ward 2 resident about a deteriorating tree in one of our local parks.
Today, I’m happy to report back with the outcome.
The tree has now been removed, and the City has advised that a new tree will be planted in its place.
Thank you to the resident who spoke up, and thank you to City staff for reviewing the concern, reassessing the timeline and getting the work done.
When residents raise concerns, they deserve to know what happened.
“Listen. Follow up. Report back.” That’s what Residents First means to me.
