Here’s a smoothie that is an un expectedly nice surprise.

Power Berry Kale Smoothie

Trying to increase your fruits and veggies? This smoothie provides both fruits and vegetables in each serving. The fruit goes into this smoothie frozen, so it comes together in minutes.

Prep time: 5 minutes

2 cups (500 mL)        packed PC Organics Baby Kale
3/4 cup (175 mL)       PC 0% MF Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup (125 mL)       PC 100% Florida Extra Pulp Orange Juice
1 pkg (600 g)             PC Organics Power Fruit Blend
2 tbsp (25 mL)           PC Organics Pure Honey

  1. Place kale, yogurt, orange juice, frozen berries and honey in blender. Purée on medium speed until thick and smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately.

Makes 5 servings

Per serving: 170 calories, fat 0 g(of which 0 g is saturated), sodium 30 mg, carbohydrate 38 g, fibre 4 g, protein 5 g
