CBS cancels Stephen Colbert’s Late Show
This is another example of the T**** autocracy growing stronger and destroying AmeriKan democracy.
The backstory
CBS’ 60 minutes interviewed Kamala Harris and T**** during the last presidential campaign. The interview was edited as is the norm when accumulated material needs cutting to fit the broadcast time lines. T**** objected to the abbreviation and sued CBS. Its parent company, Paramount caved and paid T**** $16 million as settlement.
Colbert facet
Colbert criticizing and mocks T**** nightly in his opening dialogue, undoubtedly angering the psycho. T****’s power legal team succeeded in their lawsuit and Paramount succumbed.
Most certainly, T**** wanted to gag Colbert but somehow he could not and the late night show host was relentless and unforgiving in his diatribes against T****. T**** resorted to the courts in his battle to shut up Colbert. He won.
Paramount has cancelled the Late Show and Stephen Colbert effective as of May, 2026.
Boycott CBS
I will no longer watch any CBS network broadcast. Democracy and free speech loses a battle that should not happen. I am a squeak in the verbal roar that opposes T**** and his erosion of democracy in the United States. Just as I will not buy any AmeriKan product sold in Canadian grocery stores or other retailers for that matter. I may be a squeak but I will continue to squeak, squeak, squeak.
