There should be ONE CENTRAL PLACE for ELECTION INFORMATION.
Pickering doesn’t have one. The Region doesn’t have one. Even the province doesn’t have one. It should be a place where I can find ELECTION INFORMATION readily. Candidate name…bingo. Candidate platform…bingo. Election panel discussions…bingo. Constituency information…bingo. One place, a couple clicks and I get the information.
The ballot shows names in alphabetical order. Know anything about any candidate? Nope, not unless I have seen them somewhere, heard them in a forum. Know anything about a candidate’s platform? ICKERING.
