PWSCA held a meeting last night at the Westshore Community Hall attended by no more than 30 people, including the Mayor, Councillors Maurice Brenner, Lisa Robinson, Shaheen Butt.
Many questions asked; nothing settled or resolved.
Everyone agreed the Region is too big to support services in 8 municipalities across the Region.
Paul White suggested that the Region be broken into 3 Regions;
Pickering, Ajax, Whitby;
Oshawa, Clarington;
Brock, Uxbridge, Scugog
Taxes going forward are unsustainable for average-income homeowners.
