Councillor Maurice Brenner on COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING
As I reflect on community, I am reminded of the numerous groups and volunteers who consistently contribute to making our City special. Today was a prime example. I would like to express my appreciation to Fairport Beach Neighbourhood Association, Pickering Westshore Community Association and Rotary Club of Pickering for organizing their annual Waterfront Cleanup and bringing together numerous caring volunteers who took to the trails to remove garbage.
