The City of Pickering keeps touting…”Residents can get city news and information by accessing the City’s website. Is this some kind of joke?
It is ELECTIONS time, so that’s a bump in the information dissemination highway. Seems like information dissemination during the campaign is on hold. If it’s political, you will not find anything updated on the City’s website. Want political information such as date of townhall meetings, don’t go to the City’s website! The City has a department devoted to managing and maintenance of their website. Who they are and how to contact them, no one knows. Phone City Hall, maybe they find what you need. The website sure cant.
But getting political information from City Hall at this time is nearly impossible becanse it’s ELECTION CAMPAIGN time and that means everything is put on hold.”
Some severe critics of the City would say, “Nothing is gets done !” Anyway, if you’re looking for updated information from the City Hall, go to the city’s website at pickering.ca and cross your fingers…good luck!
