Every candidate on this list was invited to send szpin.ca a bio and a summary of their platform, policies and promises. It costs nothing, and it puts their message in front of Pickering voters.
The names highlighted in RED and YELLOW answered. The rest did not submit anything. Most did not even acknowledge the invitation.
In my opinion, that silence tells voters something. A candidate who ignores a local community publication while asking for your vote is showing how they will treat community voices once elected. Supporting the community starts with answering it.
Before you vote, ask yourself: if they will not respond now, when they need your vote, will they respond later?
