I really enjoy Baldacci’s style of writing. It is smooth, entertaining and keeps you interested page after page. In this book, the characters have colour and depth. You enjoy reading about them, cheering them on in their story endevours. Mace feels authentic, talks authenticaly and keeps the story moving along. Roy his her romantic foil but never gets in the way of the story.
In short, a worthwhile Baldacci read, even if it was one of his early works. There’s only one writer that can keep up in terms of engagement, suspense and wanna-turn-the-page excitement, Terri Gerritsen. Check her out on my website. You be glad you did.
