COUNCILLOR
The incumbent, Shaheen Butt, has one competitor, Nada Rajkumar and holds the odds in his favour to win the constituency. Butt became councillor before the 2022 and succeessfully campaigned that year. He has been very active throughout the community during his term participating and attending community events in many place. He is a ‘glad handing’ campaigner and seems to have been a reasonably serving councillor over the years. Given his positive record as councillor and his community involvement, Butt is a worthwhile consideration for being returned to council.
WARD 3 REGIONAL
Dave Pickles, the incumbent regional councillor, has been in office for many years and is acknowleged as being competent and acceptable as regional councillor. He is campaigning against an unknown rookie, Nada Rajkumar.
Pickles is not credited with doing anything notable or outstanding while in office but as importantly, he is not associated with any scandal or corrupt. A professional councillor; worth considerating to be returned.
