Apple Crisp

Outstanding topping, apple body, not so much.

I liked the topping a lot, crunchy, tasty, just right on the sugar and cinnamon.

The contents of this apple crisp didn’t work for me, too gluey, and too overworked. I prefer a more natural body and would eliminate all this work. Instead, just cut up the apples, adding lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. [I purposely left out amounts as this is a subjective total varying with an individual’s taste. My amounts would likely be too little for others but I want the taste of fresh apples, clean and fresh.
