I’ll leave it to the pros to strategize about how the Leafs should play. I kind of like how they played last night, toying with us with a lead of 4-1 going into the 3rd period and then scaring the hell out of us by letting the Panthers score two more times, 4-3 with minutes to go. I think it was the 15:00 minute mark when the Leafs nailed it shut with another goal, 5-3. Then Panther Coach Maurice pulled Poplovsky with 2 minutes left…2 heart stopping minutes but the Leafs forechecked and forechecked, almost scoring into an empty net. But empty nets in moments like that shrink so that a mouse can’t squeeze in. No matter, Leafs won, 5-3

Ballard curse held at bay in series one, and game 1, series two…why do I still feel queasy about it though?
