The Pickering Public Library reopened August 10.
The reopening gave much deference to COVID-19, taking many precautions to protect and safeguard their patrons.
There is abundant use of plexiglass guards at the front entrance reception desk and at many of the reading and work areas throughout the library.
Library visits are regulated with patrons being given an entry pass permitting their entry at reserved times. Additionally, patrons are limited to 30 minute visiting time.
In this way, the library minimizes the risk of anyone being possibly exposed to the virus. However, the library is near hospital rigorous in its cleaning procedures before the library opens daily and repeated frequently during the day and throughout the entire library.
Our mini-virtual tour of the Pickering Public Library today begins momentarily…
