Another one for you, another scam using TELUS this time. I just received an emailed ‘billing notification’ from Telus. I have auto-top up in my account, so this was an unexpected notification for me.
Rather than click on the “Pay my bill” button, so readily available, I phoned Telus to find out the story. Lo and behold….FRAUD, SCAM, HACKER.
The email notification is displayed below. It is an excellent piece of work, no grammar mistakes, no spelling errors, authentic colours as used by Telus. The only thing missing….guess [the answer is illustrated at the very bottom of this post]
Missing: The official Telus logo…why it is missing, I don’t know. Unless it has something to do with the severity of punishment if caught. I wish.
